Hi,

Well the site now has a simple favicon which will appear at the start of website address bar in Internet Explorer / Mozilla etc and in your favourites. ( I am your favourite am I not )

The site also now remembers whereabouts you were when looking at photos and the diary.  So when you return selecting either will return to the same photos or diary entries.

About 120 photos from Asia now loaded for India, Japan, Nepal and Tibet.  More to come, including China and Hong Kong, once they have been scanned to CD.

Added 3 diary entries from Asia. More to follow, this involves typing my paper notebook entries into the database. No shortcuts here!

Continent: Use to recall continent last viewed when returning to website.

I intend to add cookies to store which photo or diary entries were last being looked at as well. The the site can return to them when you next come back.

All cookies expire after 30 days.

I intend to add webpages to select diary / photo entries by Date or Country.  I will also add links between diaries and relevant photos at some point in the near future.

Antarctica pictures are now loaded.  Busy typing up my diary entries now as and when I get time.

117 photos from Asia are now being scanned to CD and should be ready for collection next Tuesday.  Doesn't take long to add to website once they are on CD.

Guestbook now up and running although the layout needs tweaking to be prettier!

The 19 months website in now being redesigned.

I'm learning how to build dynamic pages and the slides are being put on CD commercially which is saving a lot of time
